Brow lamination & Tint
Brow Lamination aka “brow lift” is a natural keratin infusion for your eyebrows! The keratin compound contains essential oils, vitamin B and minerals specifically designed to provide nourishment, anti-oxidants and hydration to each individual hair. This is a non invasive treatment and that will straighten, add length & volume and set the brow hair in place to create a perfect shape. Results last approximately 2 – 4 weeks

Brow Illusions – ( invasive )

Microblading – Brows = Art. Microblading is a form of permanent makeup and has become an extremely popular service. Using a hand tool and ultra-thin blade, natural pigment is deposited into the upper dermal layer of the skin, making it semi-permanent for 1-2 years. This technique will result in thin and defined hair-strokes.

Microshading – Microshading brows are very similar to Microblading but instead of hair like strokes, a fuller and softer effect is created. This technique creates a soft powdered effect that resembles eyebrow pencil or powder.
We also do a combination of the two based on the state of the brows and the look the client prefers.

Microblading, also known as Eyebrow Embroidery is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup, but unlike traditional cosmetic tattooing, it is less invasive and is considered semi-permanent. The procedure is done by using a hand held disposable sterile blade with ultra- fine needles and a technique where fine lines are etched into the surface of the skin with pigment to provide the finest definition and dimension possible creating an incredibly natural and realistic crisp hair stroke. The CVL BEAUTY browns procedure can dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrow and is excellent for those who have the wrong brow shape, thinning brows from age or over tweezed and those wanting to enhance their brows. The strokes accurately replicate the hair which gives a natural look. Results can last from six months to over two years, depending on a variety of factors such as color of pigment, skin type, and lifestyle. The CVL BEAUTY BROWS procedure is a two-step process and the perfecting session is necessary to set the color and shape.

For the first CVL BEAUTY brows procedure, the entire session should take about 2 hours. The consultation is a part of your appointment. You will fill out the necessary paperwork. I will shape, style and draw on your perfect brow and take photos followed by pigment selection. Once you have approved the look and color of your new brows we then begin with the procedure.

BROW ARTIST will first take photos of your before look. Your brow hair grade and color is analyzed, and the desired shape is drawn on with a specialized pencil. Artist will draw each strand to create a symmetrical, natural-looking brow that is custom made for your bone structure, giving you the chance to see how dramatically new brows change your face. Once you are satisfied with the shape and thickness, we consult on color and then mix and match with the hue to ensure I get a shade that is closest to your natural hair color. (I will note the formulation, for future touch-ups), A hue is mixed to order from pigments made with FDA-certified ingredients made in the USA. A topical numbing cream is then applied that stays on for about 20 minutes, and then a special tool is used to make small, hair-shaped incisions in the skin underneath the brow– this technique is also known as Microblading. The shallow cuts are filled with highest-grade pharmaceutical pigments selected to match or darken arches. The treatment takes about two hours, with enough time to assess each step of the way. All our pigments are cosmetic grade, meaning that they are sterilized and purified for cosmetic use. The ingredients used have been approved by the FDA for cosmetic use. In addition, all our tools are single-use and discarded after the treatment. I will also discuss the procedure, the after-care, how long it takes the skin to heal and how to ensure the best results.

The eyebrow area will be slightly red after the procedure and color will appear very dark! This is normal for the procedure and part of the healing process. The color will fade up to 40-50% as it heals. In the following days, the eyebrows will continue to be dark and you will notice slight scabbing. DO NOT PICK at the scabs as this may damage the skin and the outcome of the Microbladed area. The eyebrows will lighten up in color as it heals. No down time is required after the CVL BEAUTY BROWS procedure. It takes approximately 7-14 days for the brows to heal over and about 1 month for the color to fully set in. You’ll notice the color is very light right after the two weeks after healing and the skin will have an opaque milky looking quality to it. This is known as the “milk skin” and is common in tattooing. This is due to the tissue still healing from the inside out even though the surface of the skin is healed. True color will reveal itself once healed.

This is an amazing Semi-Permanent procedure that lasts up to two years. Since Microblading pigments are not implanted into the skin as deep as traditional tattoos, the area will naturally fade overtime. Microblading typically last anywhere from 1-3 years, depending on many factors including skin types; normal, dry, oiliness and textured. All client’s results will vary and no guarantee can be made, everyone’s skin is different and is very important that you understand not everyone will benefit the same. Microblading heals about 50% lighter. A client’s skin care routine will also affect the lasting effect of the pigment. Clients who suntan, who use corrective skin care products containing, AHA, Glycolic Acids, Retinols and Hydroquione creams will fade faster and your color will not last as long. Each individual’s color retention within the skin will vary. To maintain brows looking fresh, a touchup is suggested every 6months. Clients can let the microbladed area fade over time, but please note a slight shadow may remain.

The pain level for the procedure is considered mild to none. Prior to the procedure I will apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area and also reapplied during the procedure. I use effective numbing creams that are FDA approved. On a scale of 1 to 10 with “1” being no discomfort, clients often experience between a 2 and 3 with the CVL BEAUTY BROW treatment. Everyone responds differently to anesthetic; depending on the client. Other factors such as menstrual cycles also affect level of sensitivity. A topical numbing cream is applied which will take approximately 20 minutes to take effect. Then, I will use a specially-made tool to delicately scratch the pigment into the skin, strand-by-strand. Some have described this as light cat scratches to not feeling anything. Topical anesthetics used may contain, Lidocaine, Prilocaine, Benzocine, Tetracaine and Epinephrine. After the procedure, redness and slight swelling in the area is normal. Clients described the area feeling similar to a light sunburn. Clients can take Tylenol but not aspirin or ibuprofen.

Microblading is not suitable for the following candidates:

  • Currently using Accutane or has taking this in the past 6 months
